Maryland has not changed its due date for tax returns as of now. They remain April 15 for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Comptroller Peter Franchot has extended the due date for the payments required between January 1 to April 14 to April 15. This means you may hold onto your taxes longer with no penalties. If the IRS extends its due date, Maryland will automatically match it. Stay tuned for an update as tax season gets underway.
